2009-2010 Subscription Forms Now Available
Please download the appropriate form for your class and submit with your payment. All checks should be made payable to CHS. Subscriptions are due by September 30, 2009 to Mr. VanWestervelt in Room 701. Completed forms with payment may also be turned in to the front office.

I know that many students did not receive their forms, so please download the two-page form here and return them to me in Room 701 or the Front Office before the end of school on Wednesday, December 10.

Holiday Yearbook Special!
FREE SWEATPANTS!
Parents and Students…The yearbook team has an overstock of CHS EAGLES sweatpants, and we want to give them away for this holiday season!
All yearbook preorders made between December 1 and December 17 will receive a FREE pair of CHS sweatpants and a holiday card announcing your special yearbook reservation! Sweatpant sizes, colors, and graduating years are limited, so be sure to place your order as early as possible.
Special order forms for this holiday preorder event can be found in the main office, in Room 701, and around the school on bulletin boards and in classrooms. Order forms can be downloaded here as well. All sweatpant orders will be fulfilled on a daily basis. Don’t miss this opportunity for two great gifts for the price of one!

Preordering, Ordering Yearbooks Info
What a great weekend!
Thanks to all who made the Yearbook Launch Party a tremendous success. A special thanks to Cara Mogavero and her marketing team for orchestrating the event. Also, the lobby pictures would not have been possible without the leadership of Annie Emery, Britney Lukowski, and Sadie Rockefeller. In total, over 40 yearbook and journalism students made this weekend’s publication events a memorable occasion. Thanks to all!
PICKING UP AND PREORDERING YEARBOOK INFORMATION
For those who preordered a 2007-2008 yearbook but have not yet picked it up:
2008 Graduates:
If you did NOT pick up your 2007-2008 yearbook, you may do so in the main office when school is in session, beginning Tuesday, October 21, 2008, between 8:30 and 3:00 p.m. Yearbooks will not be available before or after these designated hours.
Classes of 2009, 2010, and 2011:
You may pick up your preordered yearbook during any of the four lunch shifts outside the cafeteria from Monday, October 20, until Friday, October 31. Yearbooks can be picked up after school as well (2:15-2:45) on Tuesdays through Fridays in room 701 through the end of October. No books will be distributed at any other time during the school day.
Purchasing a 2007-2008 Yearbook:
2007-2008 yearbooks will be on sale at the same times during lunch shifts outside the cafeteria and after school in room 701. Price: $95, cash or check made payable to CHS.
Preordering a 2008-2009 Yearbook:
Beginning October 21, 2008, preorder forms will be located in the main office, on most bulletin boards around the school, and outside room 701. Please fill out a form and return with payment to Mr. VW in room 701 or to the main office. Price: $95, cash or check made payable to CHS.
SENIOR ADS:
Parents and seniors may purchase full-color ads for this year’s book. Senior ad forms were sent home with all seniors last week. However, parents may request additional ad forms, which we will be happy to send to you. Please contact Mr. VW directly at eyriebook@gmail.com. All digital ads and correspondence should be sent to this email address. Prices: quarter-page, $150; half-page, $250; full-page, $350. Payment: cash or check made payable to CHS.
SENIOR PHOTOS:
Just a reminder that all remaining senior photos will be taken in the back of the auditorium. Specific times are posted outside the cafeteria in the main lobby.
M-Z: Photos will be taken at specific scheduled times on Wednesday, October 22.
A-L: Photos will be taken at specific scheduled times on Thursday, November 6.

IMPORTANT CHANGE IN SENIOR PORTRAIT DATE

The senior photo shoots scheduled for Monday, October 13, 2008 have been moved to Thursday, November 6, 2008. All times remain the same. We have made this move to accommodate the Spirit Rally, which is being held on Monday, 10/13.

Wingspan Now Publishing Breaking News
Congratulations to the entire Wingspan team for doing such a magnificent job these last two weeks in publishing all of the breaking news that has been happening at Centennial. Particularly, I thank Alyssa Bailey, editor of F.Y.I., and Amelia Aburn and Naomi Wossem, editors of Wingspan Online, for working around the clock (literally) to bring the Centennial community the latest information that’s important to all of us.
Please bookmark our website, chswingspan.com, to get all of the print news and exclusive reports that can be found only online. Brittany Meyer has an outstanding hard news story about the Town Hall Forum held earlier this week regarding Centennial dances. This is a must-read story, especially for those who were not able to attend the meeting.

Freshmen Yearbook Subscription Deadline Approaching!
Greetings, 2012 families!
The yearbook freshmen subscription deadline, which was supposed to be this Friday, September 26, has been extended ONE WEEK. This offer will end on Friday, October 3. You can print out this post and use the subscription form shown below (please disregard the September 26 deadline!).
This offer will NOT be offered again this year or ever again to the Freshmen class! This is your last chance to save over $100…It’s like getting your senior book for free!
Checks should be made payable to CHS. Payment and form can be dropped off in the main office or in the mailbox outside Mr. VanWestervelt’s room 701.
